Privacy in the beta

Updated September 25, 2026. Little Buddy is a free beta for setting up tasks with a shared Buddy link.

What the service uses

Clerk handles account sign-in. Little Buddy stores your workspace name, verified owner email, reviewed task plans, Buddy links, progress, help requests, and usage records in Cloudflare D1. It uses cookies for sign-in and your private workspace session.

OpenRouter processes your task description, reviewed plan, and limited text and control labels from the provider page so Buddy can suggest its next action. Browserbase hosts the temporary browser used for a live task. We configure those sessions with recording and session logging disabled and a maximum lifetime of 20 minutes. These providers have their own data-handling practices.

Private information and control

Do not put passwords, card details, verification codes, recovery codes, or API keys into Little Buddy's forms. Complete sign-in, payment, permissions, and account creation directly in the provider browser. Buddy stops inspecting a page when it detects a visible private input, but detection cannot guarantee that every sensitive item on a third-party page is hidden.

You can pause a Buddy link and request account deletion from your workspace. If a browser is still active, wait for it to end and submit the deletion request again. Deletion removes your workspace data; records held by third-party providers follow their own retention policies. The browser and AI allowance may be exhausted before a task finishes.
